Lavajet is looking for a Senior Technical Manager experienced in Solid Waste Management to be based in Lebanon. The main role is to manage, control and enhance the technical aspects of the ongoing projects and supervise the tendering department.
Technical Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for the projects.
• In coordination with the Operations Department, set the project execution, strategy plan to ensure schedules, and deliverables according to project requirements.
Tender Responsibilities:
• Manage teams to develop prequalification / bids and ensure all prequalification / bid activities in accordance with Company procedures and client requirements.
• Select tenders that match with strategic objectives.
• Identify bid process by evaluating contractual, risk and technical requirements.
• Launch the cost estimate, and preparation and submission of bid packages (administrative, technical and financial).
• Analyze the bid opening results, draw conclusions, and recommend actions for next bids.
• Coordinate the Tenders preparation and elaborate Business Development strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor Degree in Environmental, Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable University and 15+ years of Experience in Solid Waste Management.
• Experience in Solid Waste Collection, Treatment and disposal
• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
• Fluent in English. French is a plus
